Sixth day

We were at school the whole day from eight to five. We had our presentations about Finland stuff, for example sauna.
The school day was long and we visited classes like chemistry and mathematics. After the school day we went home and did nothing. In the evening we all ate a lot of food!

Fifth day: Angers

Angers Monday 5.10.2015
Today we went to Angers. We went to castle of Angers and there we saw awesome things. The castle was huge and different from anything we had seen before.

After that we went to eat. Our host families had packed us some snacks for lunch.. Then we went sightseeing a church and it was very beautiful.

After church we walked around the old city and then we saw the same city on a little train (it was powered by a tractor and really slow but it was lovely to sit for a while).

It rained all day but when we got back to school it stopped raining, so we were soaking wet and cold. We spent the evening with our host families.

Fourth Day

In fourth day we were all in our own host families. We slept for a long time and spent a relaxed sunday morning. In the afternoon some of us went hanging out with other Finnish and French friends. There we played some games like Wii, we ate and walked along the river. The rest of the day everyone just spent time with their own host families for example went eating.

Third day

On Saturday finnish students spent time with their own host family. Most of us visited in Angers,  city near La Pommeraye.

In Angers we were shopping and walked around city. There are  few famous fashion shops for example Zara and Mango there. Angers isn´t very big city but it was big enough. Some of us visited in Nantes, which is a little bit bigger than Angers. There live about 1 mil. people there and there are more fashion and make-up shops than in Angers.

In the evening almost everybody went to Amy´s castle, where we ate, listened to music and spent time together. Unfortunately finnish students were in own group and french students in their own group.

Second Day: Vineyard

On the second day we spent the morning in the school attending to the first three lessons. After that we visited a wine farm near to our school. There the owner explained us about the wines and their production process and we got to taste some different forms of wines before they become actual wine. We weren't allowed to buy wine there.

The whole trip was made by foot and we got to see some very beautiful views, for example large grape fields, old buildings and the river Loire. After the trip we spent the evening with our hosts.

My host and I went straight from school to the friend of my host and spent the whole weekend there. In the evening we were very tired, so we did nothing special: just ate and enjoyed the weekend :) -Elina

After the wine farm visit I played tennis with my host and her friends. -Tehilla

After school my host and I chilled at home and ate dinner. On the weekend we went shopping and visited my hots' friend. -Hanna

After school Iiris and us went back home and ate. Elina and her host came to Amy´s home as well and we chilled all evening in front of the fireplace. -Fanny and Julia

First day

On first day our trip began from school at 3 am to Helsinki-Vantaa airport. Our flight left at 7.35 am and the flight to France went fast. We were in France about at 9.40 am local time and then we had to wait our train to Angers about two and a half hours.

We arrived to Angers and then we continued our trip to La Pommeraye by bus. At the local high school we were about at half past four. We were welcomed by teachers and all students. It was nice to see all the old french friends. After being a while at the school we left to our host families and spent the evening with the family getting know each other and eating good food.
